Dear Friends:

In 2000 we had the great opportunity of sharing a wonderful ISVEE IX conference in Breckenridge, Colorado, USA. Congratulations to Dr. Mo Salman and his team of collaborators who worked so hard. Since then, there have been many scientific and political events occurring in the world.

We are excited to prepare the next ISVEE X conference in Latin America and we want all of you to attend to experience our great diversity and Chilean hospitality. We have received the economic support of the ISVEE VIII committee through Dr. Bernard Toma of $11,586 and the ISVEE IX committee through Dr. Mo Salman of $5,000. We are very pleased for this great help.

This is the first time that an ISVEE meeting will be held on our continent, and we are very grateful for the opportunity. Also, we will be very happy to receive all of you. Moreover, it will be the first time that an ISVEE conference will be programmed in two languages, English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.
